The challenge: Transform a found chair and make it your own, with no restrictions! Fun project
for a good cause. I just needed to find the chair...... While vacationing in the Endless Mountains in Central Pennsylvania, I found this sweet chair in a three story antique shop packed with all kinds of treasures. What a discovery. It had great bones and I couldn't wait to breathe new life into it.

After couple weekends, my project was complete!

I'm happy with the finished product but what i enjoyed the most was the process. I dug up some old paint brushes and went to an art store to get paints for the first time in ages. We are so lucky to have a wood shop in our barn and this project was the perfect opportunity for me to use it. I had so much fun working with my hands and it has inspired me to dream up other projects. They might be another chair in my future but just for fun.

I hope these two little birds find a home and raise some money for charities in the process!
